Finding Relief for Rheumatoid Arthritis with Omega Cure Extra Strength

On a golf course back in Northern Michigan, Jon Moore got his first taste of Omega Cure® Extra Strength cod liver oil. Ever since, he’s been a hooked on the benefits for his rheumatoid arthritis.

In this January 2017 Customer of the Month story, Jon shares how Omega Cure Extra Strength has made it easier for him to keep up his active lifestyle.

Omega3 Innovations: Tell us a little more about you. How do you spend your time?

Jon Moore: I am an outdoor person. Here in Northern Michigan in the winter time, I enjoy downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing…I try to exercise every day. My wife and I take our dog for a walk every day; she drags us out of the house. In the summertime, we enjoy golfing and canoe occasionally on one of the rivers in the area. I also help my wife in her pottery business and do the yard work of cutting three acres of lawn every week.

O3I: How did you get started using Omega Cure Extra Strength? You mentioned a friend recommended it to you?

JM: We were golfing together with Dr. Peter Wish from the Bradenton-Sarasota area. I asked Peter what he was taking. He had one of the Omega Cure Extra Strength vials. He gave me one and also one of the cranberry muffins [Omega Cookie®]. I thought they were absolutely great. So ever since, we have been regular customers.

O3I: What kind of changes did you notice as you started using the Omega Cure Extra Strength, and how long did it take for you to see a difference?

JM: I am going to say it was about two to three weeks of using it on a daily basis. That’s when I really felt a change. I have rheumatoid arthritis and am getting infusion treatments once a month for that. But I feel that the omegas have greatly enhanced my life. I don’t have as much swelling in the joints, and I have more dexterity with what I am able to do.

O3I: Was there a specific “aha” moment when you felt you knew this was working for you?

JM: It’s most apparent to me when we walk. We walk at least a mile every day, either outside or on the elliptical. I can tell a big difference with my knees, my ankles and my finger joints. It isn’t hurting as much.

Being honest, there are a lot of physically activities for which the omega-3s have been a really big asset. I am no young buck anymore. I am hitting the 72-year-old mark. And being active is a state of mind. But this [Omega Cure Extra Strength] has also enhanced my life.

O3I: I understand you have been using the Omega Cure Extra Strength vials with melatonin recently. How has that been working for you?

JM: Now with the melatonin, we have been taking the vials in the evening. My wife says it has been helping her sleep pattern tremendously. For me, it has enhanced my ability to fall asleep faster.

O3I: What is your daily Omega Cure Extra Strength routine?

JM: We both drink the oil straight from the bottle. Just like doing a shot. Just wolfing it down. I don’t dilute it by any means.

I it wish it improved my golf score, but my energy level and overall physical and mental ability have been enhanced. I think it’s one of the reasons I am not taking a lot of other medications. I am a believer.
