Fish Oil Vs. Cholesterol Medication: She Chose Omega Cure
After using three bottles of Omega Cure®, Irene Biancotti saw her cholesterol levels drop. But it wasn’t until she replaced Omega Cure with krill oil capsules during one trip that Irene noticed the significant difference Omega Cure was making for her body.
In this March 2016 Customer of the Month story, Irene explains why she’ll never leave home again without Omega Cure.
Omega3 Innovations: You’ve been with us since 2014. What inspired you to try Omega Cure initially?
Irene Biancotti: My neighbor’s caretaker. She told me she got this Omega Cure at the farmers market. I thought, she knows what she’s doing. So I went to the farmers market and I bought three bottles.
O3I: What changes did you notice when you started using Omega Cure?
IB: I have a thyroid problem. I have to get my blood work checked every six months [to check my TSH levels]. The test also tells me what my cholesterol levels are.
My doctor had told me,”Your cholesterol levels are slowly going up.” That scared me because I didn’t want to take medication to lower my cholesterol level. Medications always have side effects, and sometimes, the side effects are worse than the problem.
I started taking Omega Cure and three months later, I had to go for my blood work again. My cholesterol level went down from 127 to 99. I was so excited I wouldn’t have to take the medication.
My husband and I also travel quite a bit.
Last year we went away for three weeks, and I took krill oil with me. I had heard that the krill oil was the better one of all the omega-3s. I was using expensive capsules – supposedly a purer, higher quality product.
When I came back to Florida, I had to have my bloodwork done again. To my surprise, my cholesterol level had gone up. I put two and two together. I decided I’m not going to leave home again without my Omega Cure.
Whenever I travel now, I bring Omega Cure Extra Strength for convenience sake.
O3I: Besides seeing the improved test results for your cholesterol level, did you feel any difference?
IB: I’ve been having problems with my knees for a long time. I used to go to the gym and I would take these weight training classes, and it was killing my knees. The orthopedist said I had arthritis in my knees. I thought “Oh, great.” I was afraid that I would need a knee surgery or even a knee replacement later on.
[After taking Omega Cure], I have no more knee pain. I can do my squats, I can do my lunges. I can walk up and down the stairs.I am very grateful to my neighbor’s caretaker that she introduced me to this Omega Cure.
O3I: How long did it take before you started noticing the difference for your knees?
IB: It was really very gradual. I think it took about six months or so before I realized I could do these exercises without my knees hurting.
O3I: You mentioned that you now bring the Omega Cure Extra Strength vials when you are traveling. How do you like them?
IB: When I traveled locally, I used to take the Omega Cure bottle in an ice cooler. One time I went to Europe to visit my relatives there, and I put the bottle frozen in a small, portable cooler in my suitcase. That went well, but it took up so much room in my luggage.
The Omega Cure Extra Strength vials are much more convenient. We are going on a trip again next Sunday, and I already got my vials.
O3I: What would be your advice for new Omega Cure users?
IB: I would say, it takes at least three bottles before you see results. But absolutely try three bottles, and you will notice the difference. Especially if you have to go to the doctor for blood work. But you feel it in your joints too.
