Restoring Eye Health and Harmony with Omega Cure
A cellist playing in both a local orchestra and string ensemble, Joan Raymond loves bringing music to her Sarasota community.
But following a cataract surgery, her dry eyes were making it difficult to read music. Thanks to a recommendation from her eye surgeon, Joan decided to give Omega Cure® Extra Strength a try – and to her surprise, found that the daily dose of cod liver oil was indeed helping her vision.
Omega3 Innovations: Tell us a little bit about yourself. What are some ways you enjoy spending your time?
Joan Raymond: I began playing the cello about 10+ years ago. Now I play with the Venice Community Orchestra and Strings Con Brio, also serving on its Board. Both groups are active in Sarasota County providing music to the community and to local fundraisers.
O3I: You mentioned that your eye surgeon recommended you try Omega Cure. What benefits were you hoping to achieve with the oil?
JR: I had cataract surgery and I also have dry eyes. My vision was really affecting my ability to read my music. My surgeon told me that Omega Cure would help with the dry eyes as well as reduce or eliminate inflammation in the body.
O3I: What was your experience like when you started using Omega Cure?
JR: I doubted that omega oil would really help. As with many things in life, you don’t always appreciate them until they are gone. I ran out of Omega Cure and within a short period of time my vision became blurry, as if there was something in my eye. Omega Cure was preventing my vision from becoming blurry, but I didn’t realize it until I stopped taking it.
O3I: As you said, if you miss a couple of doses, you notice your vision worsens. How do you stay consistent with taking your daily dose?
JR: I used to buy the large bottles of Omega Cure, but since I was doing some traveling, I thought the small, portion-sized Omega Cure Extra Strength vials would be more convenient. They are easy to take along when traveling, but I also find them convenient for everyday use. When I open my refrigerator in the morning, the bright red color of the box and bottles attracts my attention, making it less likely that I will forget to take it.
O3I: Had you tried taking another omega-3 supplement before switching to Omega Cure?
JR: Yes, I was taking another omega supplement when my eye surgeon recommended Omega Cure. She saw that I doubted Omega Cure would be any better, so she asked me to cut one of my capsules open and see if it smelled fresh. It was awful! I switched immediately.
O3I: You also order the Omega Cookies, in addition to the oil.
JR: The cookies are delicious and low in sugar. I eat them as snacks. They are “clear conscience” and diet-friendly, but still delicious.
O3I: What is your Omega Cure routine? Do you take it straight or with a little juice?
JR: When I first started taking Omega Cure, I thought I would have to mix it with juice. It was never necessary as the taste is very pleasant. I take it in the morning.
O3I: If you were going to give advice to other people who are interested in trying Omega Cure, what would you say to them?
JR: Well, I have recommended Omega Cure to my daughter and to others. It is certainly helping my eyesight. I also suspect that it is helping with inflammation. I have health issues that are exacerbated by inflammation. Since being on Omega Cure, my blood work shows no inflammation. Ordering is as convenient as getting it shipped to your door or picking it up at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday in Sarasota. Last summer I was in NYC for a few months. My Omega Cure was delivered right on time.
